EVENT RISKS -
EXTREME WEATHER
Course
This course is for practitioners involved in managing risk at outdoor events. We start with an understanding of the current and projected risks from extreme weather before moving on to practical means of mitigating the risks at strategic, tactical and operational levels.
Delegates will learn how to apply the six step approach, producing a rational, efficient and practical plan.
This course is also vital for members of Safety Advisory Groups, Local Authorities and Partner Agencies, acting in public safety and quality assurance roles.
This is an intermediate level course aimed at those with a keen interest in the industry and a willingness to study the technical and mathematical aspects of this subject.
The course materials include pro-formas to assist with preparing mitigation plans and recording data.
